 Calculate Engine Compression Ratio (CR)


Calculate CR from ALL inputs except Total Volume.

Calculate Total Volume from Bore, Stroke, and CR.  Volume is measured with piston ATDC and the head with gasket installed, and valves closed.

Calculate Combustion Chamber Volume from ALL inputs except Combustion Chamber Volume and Total Volume.

Enter Input Unit Type 1=inches 2=mm
Enter Bore size
Enter Stroke size
Enter Head Gasket Bore size
Compressed Gasket Thickness
Enter Combustion Chamber Volume in CC's
Enter Piston Dome Volume in CC's use "-" for Dished Pistons
Enter Piston Deck Clearance    If ABOVE deck use "-"
