I want to replace tank to fuel pump line. Most of the info is for 3/8 line. I mic'd mine and it appears to be 5/16. Would it be beneficial to put 3/8 on or should I go w 5/16. This is a 68 charger. Thanks. Ps. I am running an edelbrock 650 and electronic ignition on the otherwise stock engine. Thanks
The 5/16" fuel steel line is good for street use application and mild Hot Rodding.... But If your going to be doing runs at the drag strip or more performance add on's later... You might out grow the 5/16" line and have to move up to the larger....
A stock line of 5/16 is OK at best,if any type of performance is to be gained,a minium of at least 3/8 is needed and a electric pump to supply enough fuel to a 750 -850 cfm carb is needed if the motor is to turn 6500 rpm, mrmopartech
