thank you very much for fixing that, I do not know how.
Just to fill in what the picture is about to us it has allot of meaning to Lauri and I since I have been involved in drag racing a very long time. But not as a driver as a crew for my best friend that passed away TA and TF dragster. We have owned this car for 38 years and never raced it legally. Won many street races and lost some too. But to go out and bang some gears and have it hook up so hard as it did made us so happy.
My times were terrible so please don't ask haha . Lets just say it will be a high 13s cars. And I am happy with that.
Good Morning.... Andy, Sorry for Y'all Loss of a good friend!!! AS for the car, Looks great and glad your having fun. Thats what its all about !.. Sometimes it not all about how fast you run. It's about how we love our Drag Racing Family and the passion we feel for the sport and the fellowship that we build...
I have been out of the drivers seat and away from Drag racing, as well as the other motorsports for going on 12 years now.... But when I go to our local track, " I call it, My Home away from Home. " The greetings I get just brings tears to my eyes..
(But with my "wife" down ill, I have that call of duty first)... FaceBook has been great for staying in touch with them for the most part..
Cheers... Keep on Banging them gears...
38 years, and she's still bringing joy to your life... It doesn't get any better than that eh!
Well the scrappers are going to love me...
Started hauling my scrap iron and steel out of my shop this morning. I originally intended to take most of the car stuff to Carlisle, and sell it at the show. After all, someone probably wants, or has a need for this stuff.
Unfortunately, I have no room for it at the new place up in NH, and I can't just dump it all at my friends place in VT either. He already has a ton of my Tools and Charger Parts in his garage, and more coming.
So anywho... sadly, I started dragging it all out front this morning... free to a good home, or the first metal scrapper that comes along. I put a lot out this morning, but I still have more to go.
Oh. Boy... Im closing my eyes now !!!!
The Sebring is finally in the body shop. It should be back by the end of the week!!!
It's been a while, but at least the wait is nearly over
I have been doing the same thing.
Sad but its a different world now it seems.
I enjoyed scrapping yards for a used part back in the day.
Will just have to wait and see how this all pans out....... Newsom said No-More-Sales of gas powered Vehicles starting 2025? This should be interesting !!!!!
Good Morning Y'all.... Hope you are off to a great work or off week... Be safe and stay well... Mopar on Brothers and Sisters !!!
Me and Montana drove back to CT from NH this morning to report for work.
We had great weather up north, couldn't ask for better. The weather here in CT was also very nice today, so yeah... I'm dig'n it... Indian Summer!
brrrr and loving it
VETERANS !!!!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE !!!!!!
Veterans Day... Yup, I'm still here at work minding the store, watching over the vessel, as usual.
(CONSTITUTION)..... She's a Lean Mean Fighting Machine back in her day..... Hale the Sails !!!!!
Beautiful craftsmanship for sure.. I like watching videos of the seamen taking it out around the port !!!!
So lets see... We have moved the closing date for the house in CT out to January now for a couple of reasons, mostly to avoid the rush around the Holidays. This also gives me a bit more time to move things up to my home in NH with the Dodge (Montana).
I plan to bring 99% of my Charger's parts up on my next trip, likely this coming week or the week of Thanksgiving.
After that... two engines and transmissions, two rear ends, drive shafts, and a host of other components, like my two long ram intakes, etc.... I'm NOT giving those to the scrappers.
Still have to get my rolling tool boxes up there too.... but I still need those here in CT for the moment.
I plan to stop in at the body shop this week too, and see what's shaking.
