You are a very Busy man !!!!!!
Finally got my car back!
You only had to wait 3 or 4 months, but it's looking like new again now!
I was helping my son move stuff into his new place this morning.
Old Montana has been getting a lot of use lately, moving stuff back and forth, and loving every minute of it.
I ordered a Centramatic Wheel Balancer kit for him today, just because...
Dont tell me..... You got a set of some crappy tires?....
I had a Motorhome that I got tires for once upon a time, And it had the Heebie-Jeebies.... Drove me nuts....
Looks good.... Hope it gives you many more years of good service!!
Nah... I only have one weird tire... the one that "use to be" on the left front. It got a little messed up when I was having that issue with the frozen U-Joint on the front axle.
Right now I'm getting a little shimmy on the highway at 72-75 mph depending on the road conditions, which is really annoying when everyone on the road is traveling at that speed.
I'm simply looking at the Centramatics as another improvement for the truck really. The addition of the Roadmasters out back and the ADDCO Sway Bar up front, were a big improvement. Money well spent... It's almost like driving a Pro-Touring Truck now I couldn't be happier.
Old video from Motorweek
I like it...
I thought it was cool too. HAPPY Thanksgiving everyone!
I got the Mighty Dodge back also. New Speedometer and Tachometer. I had them put in the original fuel tank sending unit also as the repop was so off it was useless. Well the fuel gauge worked for 5 minutes and went to empty with a full tank. I'm sure it's a ground issue as I tested the sender before giving it to the mechanic. The ohms read perfectly. I grounded the blue wire and it pegged full so I'm good from the rear forward. The ground strap seems so loose. I'll tighten everything later and redo an ohm check........
Grounds were fine. I know there is 3/4 of a tank of gas. Ohm reading shows empty. Maybe the float is bad and took on gas. I'll have to pull the sending unit to see why it's not working.
Wow.. You guys are doing all the cool stuff.... Cheers
If it ain't one thing it's another.
Happy Thanksgiving all you MoPar heads
I'm here at my home in NH this evening. Made the run up here today with a truckload of parts for the Charger. I'll be dropping those off at my friends house in VT. He has more storage space at his place than I do, so that's where they'll be stored for a bit.
Centramatics arrived today just before I headed out on my 300 mile trek north. I had a few minutes to spare before leaving, so I put the front set on anyway,
Big difference driving up... no more shimmy at 73 MPH. I can still feel that screwy tire on the rear, barely, but I can feel it. That will most likely go away after I install the rear set.
Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving.... Hope my Mopar family and friends have a great and Blessed day... Cheers
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here!
