Well, I was out riding around and the power steering pump sprung a leak. Entire engine compartment covered in power steering fluid. It's a TRW unit. Back in 1980 I picked up a power steering box and pump from a 71 junkyard Challenger. Figures the trw pump is the hardest to locate parts for. I'm bringing the car to a shop that specializes in 60's and 70's Mopars. He is going to check the driveshaft angles and repair if necessary. Check the power brake issue. Aim the headlights and now fix the PS leak.

No personal experience with the Borgeson stuff, but a lot of guys I have been around use them and like them.
Not sure what hose you need for the fitment?

That's nice these parts are available for us now more. I bet if you called the tech line at Borgeson they can help with your questions.

    EeeekGood lord!
Nothing worse than a new paint job covered in power steering fluid!
I hope you were able to get in there and clean it all up.

I got it pretty well cleaned up. It's going in the shop in a week or two. I'll have them wash everything down.....

I ordered the Borgeson Pump and pressure hose. They'll be here in a few days. Should be good as new soon. Power Steering Pump.jpg

I installed the new pump and hoses. It took about an hour. Flawless install and test drive...no leaks....no squeaks! IMG_0998.JPG IMG_0999.JPG
