Hello,

Can you help me to:

Identify this part?

I know it is the ashtray that fits in the dash console, but then why can't I find a replacement at Yearone or other Mopar parts sites if I search for "Ashtray" or see it in any console pictures?

Can I get it redone? Where?

Thanks for the help!!! One piece at a time!!!

Yep, 71-74 B body ashtray. No one is reproducing them. Apparently because there are thousands in yards still.
I attempted to refurbish mine and quickly found that the front is plastic. Yep, you sand it, your dead.
I ruined one like that.
Best sceneario, find a nice used one in a yard and polish it or simply clean it up and paint it.
Here is a nice inside part, but no plastic front.
