I have been spending my winter working on the Cuda. Redid the 727 tranny and installed a new TCS 8" 5000 stall converter. Last year i had issues with the converter and basically the converter was flying apart and contaminating the oil that flowed through the 727. Destroying both pieces. weeping.gif I finally got my TTI headers that i have been waiting for all summer. The cuda was running on a 1 5/8 hooker header that was to small for the ports of the Indy heads. Installation of the headers was a little interesting in that i had to jack the drivers side of the engine up to get the header past the steering column and the head. With that done we found that the collector wouldn't pass the Trans brake solenoid. Here we had to get physical!! I heated up the pipes and bent the collector down and away a little so it cleared the solenoid . I added the E-vac system to the reducers and bolted them on. Finished!!! I will post a couple of pics to show the finished product. Now that im done with these changes im looking at changing out the drum brakes on the front to a good disc brake setup. Always something to fix or change with this sport. closedeyes.gif Plus this helps the winter go by quicker.
