66 Fury1 2-door hardtop (post), fresh complete rebuild and upgrade to 440 4-speed, power steering, manual 11" drum brakes, slightly narrowed 8.75 rear end with 323 suregrip, relocated rear springs without cutting, seats and headliner replaced but the rest of the interior is original. Complete repaint on straight original sheetmetal, rechromed front and rear bumpers, all chrome and stainless is exceptional. New tires--295/50-15 rears and 215/70-14 fronts on polished American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels.

Pedals have been changed from automatic to clutch and brake assembly for a 4 speed conversion. Shifter arm has been properly removed from the steering column. Dash, door panels and even the carpet has been re-used. Seats are re-covered with fabric and patterns similar to the originals. New white headliner. The radio delete panel is intact an uncut. Re-used the original glass and is in good condition for its age with no cracks. Has extra insulation in the roof and floor. Front and rear bumpers have been recently re-chromed, all the emblems are nice and what little stainless there is, has been polished. All the gauges work and seem accurate.

The 440 is a 1978 low compression engine with a fresh forged steel crank, Mopar Performance 280/480 hydraulic cam and lifters, high volume oil pump, double roller timing chain and gears and windage tray. Intake is an Edelbrock performer 440 dual-plane and uses an Edelbrock 1406 carb with electric choke. Uses factory style electronic ignition with Taylor wires and MSD Blaster coil. Has a new Griffin aluminum radiator and 7 blade factory fan. Exhaust manifolds are factory C body and exhaust is a complete 2.5" TTI system with H pipe and turn downs at the back. Underside of the car has been steam cleaned and undercoated.

Rear end is a narrowed 8.75 with a 323 suregrip, Moser axels, green bearings and long studs. Springs have been moved in without cutting the frame, allowing for monster meats on the rear.

This is a hand built car from one end to the other using mostly factory type parts--no exotic aftermarket pieces, unless you consider the wheels and exhaust. Its not something that was offered by the factory in 1966, but its what could have been if they had a C body for the drag strip. This is 1 of 9999 2 door posts made in 1966, and 1 of a only a few that have been converted to a 440 4 speed.

It has logged nearly 700 miles since the build and drives like a conventional car. 300 of those miles was on a weekend trip to Oklahoma, without any problems. Had no fear of finding fuel, as the low compression lets it burn just about any fuel that you get. Didnt check the fuel mileage but estimate it in the mid teens.
Car is located in Burlington, KS 66839, south of Kansas City on I35. More pics at http://www.themopardude.com or call 620-364-8200

66 Fury 1, 2 door post. white with gold/brown interior, power steering, radio delete. Was 318 poly automatic, has narrowed 8.75 and springs moved in without cutting. Will need seats recovered and headliner, otherwise all interior good enough to use again. Has 4speed pedals hung. Have the original wheels and dog dishes. Will make a sharp street basher with a 440 and 4speed.
More info and pics at www.themopardude.com 620-364-8200. $6100 after paint.

I just picked up a 1969 Plymouth Fury VIP. I’m going to need some replacement body panels… fenders, grill, bumper, quarter panel replacements.. stuff like that. Does anyone know of a good place to find reproductions of any of these parts? Or does anyone have or know where to find NOS or used parts?

1967 Plymouth Sport Fury for sale / Mopar Trade
Turn key car, really nice interior, door panels, dash pad and headliner look like new as well as the stainless, chrome, really needs nothing. The paint has some light cracks in the clear coat at the trunk, but stills shines bright. The vinyl roof is also excellent. The duals are almost new front to back. This car has loads of power but still great on fuel.
It has a 383 Super Commando detailed big block, with a 727 tranny and 323 rear gears, with center console and bucket seats. I belive the mileage to be accurate at 68,000.
Everything works on the car but the clock, and the car does not leak any fluids anywhere. The frame and floors are excellent/perfect. Very solid car with no body fill. Many new parts including Mopar reproduction battery, and will also leave the stereo..JBL, SONY, DUAL, JENSEN, PIONEER.
Mopar trade..looking for a Scamp, Swinger, 73 Charger, or Road Runner, or clone. WILL TRADE DOWN FOR THE RIGHT CAR. Please no lowballers this is to nice of a car.
Will be happy to answer any questions. This Fury is something that is not seen very often, I hate to use the word rare but the Canadian 67s are. This car is Canadian out of Windsor.
$15,000. This is an excellent running and drive anywhere car.
Vin decodes price class as "High"
More pics on request.
Thanks

Original 318-2bbl, column automatic, power steering and power brakes. 1 of 1205 68 Polara convertibles made in 1968. Was a lighter blue (Q code) and repainted similar to later model Mopar Banzai Blue. Seats have been sectioned in here and there, keeping its stock appearance maintained. Could use a few minor items like the front arm rests and upper dash pad but the rest of the interior is nice and original. No holes cut in the rear panels for speakers, as it has a speaker mounted in the factory space in the middle of the seat. Top is black and in very nice condition, having been repalced in the last few years. Boot could use some sewing corrected on it but works and looks decent.Top goes up and down without problems. Glass convertible rear window in good shape. Trunk and frames are rust free. It has had a small hole in the drivers floor patched and some work done to the lower quarters, but is clean otherwise.

Starts easily and drives fine at highway speeds, no charging or overheating problems. Chrome is all there so no need to chase hard to find pieces. Interior is useable as-is. Would make a nice driveable summer cruiser that could be improved in some areas to make a very nice driver.

$4500

Up for sale is a 2 dr. 68 Newport. This car spent its entire life garaged with original owner driving less than 2400 miles a year. The car has 95,000 miles on odometer but motor and transmission were rebuilt in 1996 and only have 22,000 miles since rebuild. The motor is a 383 with a edelbrock manifold and 4bbl. carb. Idid some work to the car since I bought it. New items incl. rear springs with added leaf, kyb shocks, motor mounts, battery, plugs, cap, rotor, wires, rebuilt the carb. The car does have some minor rust on lower quarters but the rest of car is solid. Everything lines up. I do have the title and found the build sheet under the back seat. Owners manual is in glove box. Asking 3500.00 obo Make me an offer Any ? you can call me at 412-225-0407. The car is located south of Pgh. Pa. More pics on request.
