Just a bit further down the road from the TN Police car I found this 70 Dodge Cornet 500. Guy said I could have it for the bother of hauling it out of there. Looks like some small parts are salvageable like seat belts, hub caps, tail lights, marker lights, door handles and etc. that I can use on my 70 GTX resto project wink.gif

Looks like you will be hauling it out a pickup load at a time.

I'm out of town on business but will be back around Thanksgiving day. I'll check on the condition of the bumpers then and let you know.

It's crazy to think that someone once drove that car. Its sad to see something so cool get junked like that. I also restore guitars and i also collect vinyls and i've seen some TRASHED vinyls before. It seems like with guitars you can almost always find something worth keeping... thankfully

I'll take a closer look at her this trip and see if I can get the whole car. I'm in need of period correct seat belts bolts and horns.
