Can the front spindles on an early B Body Be swapped side to side? I want to put a power steering Rack in the car but it has to be front steer to work. Any Ideas?

podner, i cant rule it out , but i sure never heard of anyone tryin it, stands to reason that the ball joints would be the same and you might just swap sides with the lower ball joints to get the same results. im curious tho whatcha gonna do about the pitman arm and the idler or are you gonna try somthin like a rack and pinion thing. i sure wouldnt make you no guarantees except for this. if you do it and ever have a wreck and an insurance adjusters lawyer finds it there will be hell to pay in court for re arrangin the oem

Rack and pinion is the plan. Can't fit the steeering box in there with the big block and headers withouth spending big bucks. I'd use a Dakota rack. reasonably easy to mount. Not gonna worry about it this year though.
